Very Rare 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Seville 2 door hardtop. There were only 850 Eldorado Seville's made in 1958. How many remain is anyone's guess, but probably less than half. I bought this car almost 20 years ago in a disassembled state. The motor had just been rebuilt. I removed all chrome and repaired all body imperfections and painted. The paint is good everywhere except the right quarter. The chrome is all original, and is in good condition. The motor has only been started and driven around the block a couple of times. After reassembly I ran out of money and ambition. The interior was trash and needed to be completely redone. I stored it indoors for eight years before I lost my storage. For the last five years it has been stored outside in the weather. It is time for me to let someone else finish this rare car. The car started and ran, and transmission shifted ok before it was parked. The only thing wrong with the body is that somewhere in it's past, the right quarter panel looks to have been replaced, and where the splicing was done, the body plastic has delaminated. This is an easy repair for any body shop. The car had no rust repair except around the rear window. It was cut out and new metal was welded in. It had a new vinyl top put on but now needs to be replaced. I have five Kelsey Hayes Sabre wheels but they need rechroming. I have no center caps for the wheels. The motor and engine compartment was painted when the motor was out, and looks great but has a lot of dust and dirt on it. Power steering, air conditioning, power brakes, power windshield washer, and automatic dimming lights. The interior is totally bad and needs to be all redone. All the interior pieces, and chrome parts are stored in the trunk, and in the backseat. I think all of the chrome louvers and mouldings are there. This is obviously not a driver, and would have to be trailered. As with all cars that have been in long term storage all fluids would need to be changed. I did put a new exhaust system on it before storage. With a new interior, repair on right quarter panel and a lot of minor detailing, this could be a great investment opportunity.
