Item up for auction is a one of a kind 1968 Dodge Charger. The car is a '68 body grafted onto a Procharger supercharged 2007 SRT8 Dodge Magnum chassis. When I say chassis I mean EVERYTHING. Floors, frame, drive train, wiring, hoses, suspension, exhaust, heat and ac systems, cooling and so on. You get all of the technology, safety, handling and power of a new car with the style and classic looks of the 1968 Charger. This car is, and is meant to be a driver. You are not going to win every car show you go to, but you can drive this car coast to coast or day to day with no issues. This car was a SEMA feature vehicle for Pure Power lubricants. I drive it 3 times a week for around 120 miles and have made several 300+ mile runs in it with no problems. This car will do high 12s in the quarter on street tires and wide open will go 165mph+ while still getting 20-21 MPG on the highway. Won a trophy at an all Mopar car show against 35+ modified B-bodys at the huge 2 day CPW Spring Fling car show. Not bad for a daily driver going up against trailer queens. 575hp supercharged 6.1L Hemi, with 5 speed automatic. Power rack and pinion steering 5 link independent rear suspension. Strut front suspension with Bilstein all the way around Four wheel disk brakes with Brembo calipers 14.2" front and 13.8" rear. Anti-lock brakes, traction and stability control. Modern AC and heat, racing seats custom stitched to match the SRT8 interior, custom dash inserts and console. Doors have been converted to use the '07 latches, power locks and power window motors 245/35 R18 up front and 265/35 R18 in back. The bad...... It may drive, handle and perform like a 2007, but the windows are still '68 vintage so you get the wind noise of a '68 Only the front windows are power, the rears are manual. The wiring is there if you want to convert them. Due to space limitations the radio must be mounted in the console like it is now. You will never have a dash mounted radio. The ugly....... There are several up close paint chips and scratches. This is not a 100 point show car it is a pro-touring type of car. It still shows very well and turns heads anywhere you go and looks better than 90% of the cars on the road. The rear window trim is funky. There is no dome light because the headliner was installed and they forgot to run the light wires. I can fix this if it really bugs you. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
