This Dodge Grand Caravan SE was my daily driver for the last 3 years until we had to park it in favor of something better on gas. The van has the 3.8L V-6 engine, dual sliding doors, "quad" seating, factory AM/FM cassette stereo, and power windows and door locks. Vehicle starts, runs and drives but is currently not registered. NO check engine light - passed state inspection in December 2010. The major issue with this van is rust - the quarter panels and rockers are very rusty and rust is coming through the paint on the driver's door and the hood. I have dealt with some of the rust issues but I believe the remainder are not economical to fix. The reserve price is set at the scrap value plus the $60.00 EBay fee. Title is clear. If you are looking for an inexpensive vehicle that will haul lots of people or things this may be for you! New strut tower caps were welded in place in March 2008 to correct rust problems (common problem on this model). The heavily rusted dual sliding doors and hatch were replaced in November 2010 with used doors/hatch from a Plymouth Grand Voyager. One rear brake line rusted out in February 2011 so I had both rear brake lines replaced from the ABS valve to the wheels - new rotors, pads, shoes and drums were also installed. The fuel pump and plug wires were changed last Summer. Tires were brand new in November 2010 (Cooper Trendsetter SE P215/65R15) and have about 3,500 miles on them - lots of life left! There are some problems besides the rust. The air conditioning compressor is shot and I have the A/C relay removed to prevent it from operating (the clutch is fine so the belt turns freely). The passenger window does not operate and is always up. Both the windhield washer and rear window washer do not work. There is an exhaust leak which will eventually need repair. The engine has a slight stumble at idle. The sliding doors and hatch are solid but they are purple while the rest of the van is blue - also the badge on the hatch is for a Plymouth Grand Voyager. The blue paint has a scratch line all around the vehicle. The right rear wheel cover is missing. Local pickup only at my Pendleton, NY location. I will provide title, bill of sale and two keys with the van on receipt of cleared payment. I am willing to mail title and bill of sale after receipt of cleared payment if you want to get plates before you pick it up.
