This auction is for a 1969 GTO 4 speed. Completely original and untouched car!! Runs and drives! This Goat has been in storage in Arizona since 1980 and is truly a unique find. Car has 61,063 original miles!! The exterior of the body retains about 99 percent of its original paint (that of which the AZ sun has not baked off). The driver side fender had some work done on the front area at some point. The body is straight and all sheet metal is original. Doors open and close perfect with no sag at all. Has never had any type of patches or body panel replacement. The engine is numbers matching and all of its components are original to the car along with the m-20 Muncie transmission and Hurst shifter. The rear end is also original to the car and came from the factory with 3:55 gears. This is a non a/c car and it has drum brakes. Original 14 inch JC code ralley wheels. Factory options include hideaway headlights, bucket seats, and console. Gold car and originally had a black vinyl top which is long gone. The gold interior is 100 percent original. Original radio still there along with 8 track player. Only thing missing is the shifter handle. There are some rust spots-lower exterior parts of fenders-below rear window-3 inch spot above rear window-few pinholes in decklid-small spot in trunk-and the corners of the rear quarters. The rest of the car still reatains good original sheet metal. This is probably one of the most complete unrestored/survivor type GTOs left out there. Would make a very awesome restoration project.
