Vehicle Detail
For Sale is a 2000 100% Electric Ranger EV ......... Original 8 volt battery pack ... I removed the pack and installed one of my 3 cell 70AH Lifepo4 battery to replace a completely dead 8 volt module ......... this brought the truck back to life so that I could drive it in and out of my shop and to be able to test the truck and make it so it could be driven onto a delivery truck instead of having to be winched on like most dead trucks as it costs a lot less to ship a running truck then a dead one ....... the previous owner installed a clarion stereo for better listening pleasure ... I purchased this one and brought it back to life as it is a very low, low mileage truck so it has not been abused and there is not much for wear and tear ... body in great shape ... obviously needs a new battery pack but everything else seems to work well ... I am more then happy to help the new owner out with installing whatever kind of new pack they would like ... I have the 70AH Lifepo4 CALB cells in my personal ranger ev and they are a good choice as you can go 70 miles to the charge if really needed.. I recommend to keep it under 50 miles to the charge to make the batteries last a full 2 to 3,000 cycles ................. can also do a 12 volt conversion if the new owner would like .. Or you can do whatever conversion you would like .. with a low mileage ranger ev this one will be a great one for a long life of Electric Vehicle driving ... No more oil changes, tune-ups or that nasty spilling gas on your shoes ..... no more gas ..... depending on your electricity cost it can cost as low as 1 cent per mile ... if you fill up at a business that offers free charging then it costs zero to charge it and that means free driving !!! any questions glad to answer them included is a charger so you can plug it in at home ... I have both the settable ics -200 to charge when you want it to start so you can go to bed and have it plugged in and it will start to charge late at night when charging is less expensive .. you can have it come on at midnight and stop at 6 am before the rate change happens ..... a lead acid pack takes about 6 to 6 and 1/2 hours to charge ... a Lifepo4 pack takes about 4 hours for a 70AH pack and about 5 and 1/2 hours for a 100AH lifepo4 pack ........ good luck and good bidding ...... low reserve on this one so if you are looking for a great one to do a EV project these already have it ready to go .....
