Please buy this car now so I do not have to fix all the little stuff and repost! A friends daughter's car that has been in semi-covered storage for at least 8 years...... It runs rather well considering it has 8+ year old gas in an injected engine. Repainted from silver (why?) to red that is a 20 footer job at this point. We messed up the lower frame rails a bit winching it on the trailer ramps to get it to my place to try and get it running. As it turns out if I had just put the battery in it would have driven to my place 20 miles away! If it were not for the serious rust around the windshield and 1 spot underneath I would consider doing this one myself (I need 14 cars). But with a decent E-Type, MG's, Benz's, street rods etc. no time to fool with this one. Don't know Z's all that well but usually they are completely rusted out - see pics on this one as it is a bit strange.... Engine runs very well (oil press, temp all good)considering gas, scared the neighbors and did nice donuts in the back yard. Went for a ride on the street (bogus plates - sorry S.C.) and the trans shifted fine though the rear brakes are hydraulically challenged. Fronts work fine though! I could spend a couple of long weekends and turn this thing into a daily driver but too much stuff. Pictures tell the tale, lived here and Georgia most it's life which is why it is still around I guess. Actually a kind of cool piece now; definitely worth saving. If you are local to Pickens, SC area drive it home. Otherwise, bring a trailer and I get my Jag's battery back once it is on the trailer. Cool original stuff (Disco Shadow Alloy Louvers!) in the pics goes with it. Reserve is reasonable, so have fun and make Paul Newman proud by saving an example of one of his favorite & most successful race cars!
