This is a great car for a collector or restorer. It is a project car and will need some TLC. This car was purchased by the 2nd (current) owner in 1995 and had alot of work done over the following 2-4 years: engine rebuild, carburetor rebuild, new fuel lines, cleaned fuel tank, new seat upholstery, new carpeting, and new paint. This 240z has been parked and idle for approximately 6 to 7 years. Known mechanical problems are: clutch master cylinder, carburetors, and rear brake assembly on passenger's side. The back hatch needs new brackets/hinges. There is rust in the usual spots -- door jams, bottom of the body, above the hood on engine vents, and under the back glass. (Indicated in pictures) The car is equipped with a CD player, but comes with the original stereo. It also comes with extra hoses, locking lug nut sets, mechanical fuel pump, and new brake pads (in box). It is also equipped with a factory alarm system. Purchase also includes a complete 1972 240z engine for rebuild/parts usage, including the 1972 carburetors.
