I found this car in a warehouse in 2007 where it was being dismantled to be cutup. At that time it was white with black trim. I bought the car thinking I would fix it up as a driver but after I got the car home and did some research, I found it was a rather rare version of the 914. I decided that it would be a better idea to restore it and give it someone who really appreciated it and buy something else. I wanted to try and maintain as much originality as possible. This car turns heads. It's won many concours over the last few years and would be a perfect car for someone who wants something that they would have to do very little too to be absolutely perfect. Having said that, here are some important features of the car: Complete bare metal respray. Original color: Light Ivory with Phoenix Red accents. L80E/L32k. Glasurit single stage urethane. All rust issues fixed including, new battery tray, support and engine compartment longitudinal or "hell hole". All professionally repaired. Top end rebuild on orginal numbers matching 2.0 liter engine with fuel injection. Wheels refinished by Harvey Weidman All records dating back to 1986. I am the 4th owner.
