This 1984 Mercedes 380SL is a great driver with many more miles left in the tank. Please note a couple items. First the miles are true. I have a Carfax that shows the same things as the Autocheck system. This cars low rating is unjust as you can clearly see that the mileage issue was corrected within a month. This car WAS NOT rolled back mile wise it was a clearical error. Secondly, I will NOT sell this car to ANYONE outside of the USA. I have been jerked around 3 times now on out of country buyers. I will NOT accept any bids/offers from anyone outside the USA. I will also not accept ANY offers from anyone with a 0 (zero) or negative feedback. If you are new to Ebay you MUST call me direct before making bid. I will also not answer ANY emails outside of Ebay. If you want to discuss the vehicle call me at the phone number posted. This car has run a few times, selling 3 times but twice to bogus buyers and the last guy didnt complete the deal. I have made some changes to the car and how its being sold. I will list those items below. Third, my primary location (office and such) is located in Indiana but I moved to Arizona 4 years ago and THIS CAR IS IN ARIZONA and will not be shipped to IN. The car would need to be picked up in ARIZONA not Indiana. I am licensed out of Indiana though. This car runs very good, shifts perfect, drives straight. It does pull slightly to the right upon braking but the brakes are good. EVERYTHING works on this car including ICE cold A/C which was converted over to the current R134 system (newly done). This car comes with both tops but the convertible top is original, torn and needs to be replaced. The top in the correct Blue color can be purchased on Ebay for $350.00. The hardtop is in very good condition and the inside headliner is perfect. The body of the car is in very good condition for the year. It has been repainted the original color Silver but not to a high standard and has some orange peel. From 5-10 feet away is looks very good though. It does have some minor nicks and stratches though nothing major. It is a 27 year old car but hasen't had any major damage and no reports of any accidents. It was originally an Illinois car that came to Arizona in 2000 and has been here ever since. The only other issue with the car is the standard wear on the interior. The dash pad is cracked, as are most olders cars here in AZ. A new one on ebay will run $116.00. The seat cover on the drives side does have some tears from age and new covers in Benz Tex Blue on Ebay are about $400.00. Sheepskins covers are around $100.00. The rest of the interior is in very good condition and needs nothing. The trunk is complete with spare and hardwear. These in perfect or close to perfect condition are selling in the 8-12K range here and via Craigslist. This is a very nice older car with alot of miles left in her for half of that. I would also say if you live on the east coast it will probably run $800-1200 to ship it there and I will not deduct the shipping cost from the value of the car. I dont charge the shipping.... fly out , drive it home. Im pretty sure it would make it with no problem though it is 27 years old and has 173,000 + miles.
