This is a 1996 Silver Spur LWB saloon. It is Quite lovely, and a wonderful opportunity to own a very desirable, pampered example that you will be Proud of. This one is quite Elegant, especially in the Exquisite Peacock Blue Coachwork, with Magnolia hides, piped French Blue.....very unique, and absolutely Magnificent. I think it is quite striking!!! This Beautiful Rolls Royce has only traveled 71,000 miles since new, which is less than 5,000 miles per year....low low miles for any pre-owned car. In 1981 the Sliver Spirit and the LWB Silver Spur were introduced. These cars were the first "All New Modern Rolls Royce" since the introduction of the Silver Shadow in 1966...15 years before!!. The entire car was re-designed cosmetically, and brought Rolls Royce Motors right into the "Next Generation". Besides having an entirely new look about them, some of the most noteworthy improvements are an entirely new braking system, with mineral oil, and of course a much more sophisticated suspension, with gas spheres in the rear, for a smoother ride, and better handling. Also Fuel injection was added, for better performance, and of course, dependability. What is nice about the 1996 model is that it has all of the updates of the newest series cars(sans Turbo), such as antilock brakes, an updated suspension system and the refined version of the famous Rolls Royce Two Level Air Conditioning System for maximum interior comfort. There are also updated power seat controls with 4 position memory and easy to use power mirror controls. In 1996 The "New" Silver Spur came along. It has a Beautifully re-designed Fasia, along with a drivers and passenger side airbag. Progress is evident with the newly designed climate controls, switchbox, and more luxurious interior appointments. This elegant body style lasted right up to 1999(18 years), when the V-12(BMW powered) Silver Seraph was introduced. This one is Especially nice, with it's Newer style Wheel Trims, and looks much newer than it really is!!! Original cost in 1996 was over $200,000.00. Replacement cost today is over $350,000.00!!! Please keep in mind that this is a 15 year old Rolls Royce that is not "flawless"or "mint". If you want a "show car" or a "perfect" example this is not the one. This is a WONDERFUL Silver Spur II that runs and drives beautifully. I have driven it several hundred miles and it has been an absolute pleasure. The 6.75 litre light alloy Fuel Injected V8 runs great and the 4 speed Automatic transmission shifts ever so smoothly. The exterior colour is called "Peacock Blue" with "Magnolia" fine lines. It is in excellent condition considering this is 15 year-old car. The paint is bright and shiny. Barring some minor blemishes in a few places, normal for any older vehicle, and a few nicks, this car makes a very grand appearance. There are no signs of damage. As you can see in the photos it is just magnificent. The chrome and brightwork are just gorgeous and are also in excellent condition. The famous Rolls Royce Radiator Grille is just Breathtaking!!! The "Flying Lady" stands Tall and Proud, and is just beautiful. Unlike most older Rolls Royce’s this Silver Spur has no visible signs of any rust or weather damage, Apparently it was garaged all of it's life. We have run a Carfax report on this 1992 Rolls Royce and it passed with flying colors, indicating no accident history, or odometer discrepancies. It qualifies for the CARFAX Buy Back Guarantee. This vehicle has a clean Pennsylvania title. The interior is covered in Glove Soft Magnolia Hides, piped French Blue, round the inside and outside edges of the seats, which, by the way, are heated. The top roll, instrument board roll, under-dash trim, and radio surround are also covered in French Blue hide. The steering wheel is covered in Black Hide. It has Sundym glass throughout, and is in Beautiful condition. The Blue carpeting, bound Magnolia, is also in very Nice condition, including the drivers footwell. Even the luxurious Mouton Overlays are present. The famous hand polished and finished veneers on the Fasia are very nice as well, the patterns are just breathtaking. The Waste rails on all four doors are quite handsome looking. Being a Long Wheel Base model, this Beautiful Silver Spur is fitted with Gorgeous Wood Tray Tables to the rear that are utterly Fabulous. As one would expect, The "Best Car in the World" is equipped with Split Level Climate Control that keeps the lavishly appointed interior cool in the summer, and toasty warm, when necessary. The window lifts and seats are electric and work just fine. The Cruise Control is present, and works just great. The original AM-FM Stereo Cassette Player sounds wonderful, and there is even a 6 disc CD changer fitted to the centre console. I have been test driving this Wonderful Silver Spur LWB saloon and have put about 200 miles on it. As one would expect, it is a pleasure, quite smooth and quiet. The four White Stripe radial tyres just add to the already fabulous and unique Rolls Royce feel. We have just had our Expert technician, Scott G. change the oil and filter (Castrol GTX 20/50 of course) and perform a safety inspection. It has been fully detailed by the famous J&J Detail services and is ready for your excitement. We have all of the books and Manuals. There are some service records, indicating a major upper engine gasket service has just been performed. This is quite the important service on a "Zytec" Engined car and includes Valve Cover Gaskets, and rebuilding the brake pumps. Cost is well in the the three thousands!
