Vehicle Detail

Absolutely beautiful 1970 Kaiser Jeep CJ5. This has only a true 11k miles on it. Only two owners prior to me who lived in the Hamptons and drove this a half a mile to the beach during summer weekends. The jeep was freshened up by specialists and as you can see the engine could be eaten off of. It has the original Hurricane four which absolutely whispers. Cruises very nice and the overall appearance is incredible. I have shot a pic of the only minor flaw in the paint from the front right fender. Not rust. The rims and tires are off of a newer CJ5 and are not perfect but give a great look and provide a wider stance than the originals. I do not have the original rims. Interior is spectacular. Engine bay has original tags etc...shown in photos. I also have the soft top. This is a very nice low mileage CJ5. No scratches, dents etc...one of the nicest 1970s you will find. If you have any questions please let me know.On May-23-11 at 10:21:36 PDT, seller added the following information: I also have a hardtop and doors that were specifically made for the early CJs. It has never been put on so the holes do not exist and it needs restoring. It is included in the auction if the winning bidder wants it. It would need a couple small dents popped out and paint. Doors are decent and restorable. On May-24-11 at 09:18:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Description of what was done: The tub was pulled off and rhino lined underneath and on floorboards to ensure no rust WILL occur. New shocks etc...New electrical, engine freshened up with new gaskets, plugs, wires etc...Paint matches perfect all around with paint code tagged in engine bay. Even the windshield gasket, wipers, mirror etc..are extremely nice. So it did not go through a "full restoration" as it did not need it but anything that needed to be brought back to life or replaced was. Thanks.
