I AM LISTING THIS FOR A FRIEND Up for auction is a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. This was a western car that is very solid. All panels are original, no rust ever except one small spot on front lower right door (see pics). It has 76,000 original miles on the body. The entire drive train is new with less that 1,000 miles on it. The motor is a 318 with auto trans. Motor & trans rebuilt to factory specs. -New power steering & hoses -New front disc brakes & rotors all brakes lines -New Edlebrock carb & intake -New rear end -New posi lock, 354 gears -New axles & bearings -New rear shoes & hardware & drums -New shocks all 4 corners -New drive shaft -New tires 15" on old school Keystone mags -New dual exhaust -New parking brake cables -New radiator hose & heater hose, radiator is reconditioned -New gas tank and sending unit The whole drive train is new with less than a 1,000 miles and sounds good through the flow master exhaust. The interior is original and in very nice shape, with new carpet. Everything on the car is in good working condition. The car was purchased and brought to Ohio in 2007 and the rebuild began. Now for the week. Although this is extremely solid and nice it has had a repaint somewhere along the way. It looks to be done in a single-stage enamel with some bad prep work. All the car needs is a good paint job, and it could be a winner at any car show or cuise night. It turns heads and gets the thumbs up the way it is now. It's a blast to drive and he hates to get rid of it, but has some other cars coming and needs to make room.
