1983 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler Wide Track Model Fiberglass body in great shape (currently gel coat finish, could easily be painted), will never rust (dash and tail gate are steel). 258 6cyl 5 speed transmission (re-built in the recent past). Transfer case is not present, is currently in 2 wheel drive. Front diff is in place (needs transfer case, shifter, & front drive shaft). Runs and drives right now, but not 4 wheel drive. 174,000 miles on the clock. Engine runs too good to have this many miles, could have been re-built in the past. There is a rust area on the chassis, could be an easy repair. New starter. 1/2 hard cab, bulk head, and hard doors. Full length soft top and soft doors. Small tear in front seats. After market larger fuel tank, needs sender replaced or adjusted. Tires in good shape, spare has never hit the road. Rear converted to SSBC stainless steel brakes. 1 piece rear axles. Jeep has many stainless steel accessories. I have extra parts, new, in boxes. Runs and drives great!
