Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1988 Phantom Gray Honda GL1500 Goldwing. I bought this bike from my uncle in 99 who was the original owner. The bike has always been garaged kept, is in great running condition and has always been properly maintained. The engine is tight and does not leak. Everything works on the bike. Standard equipement, options and add ons: -am/fm/cassette radio -rear speakers -intercom -factory cb -passenger headset volume control and talk button -reverse -on board air compressor with attachment in saddle bag to fill tires -cruise control -honda toolset -ride off stand -tulsa windshield with air vents -markland highway boards -travelcade road sofa seat with gel and backrest -passenger floor boards with cruise pegs -add on air wings -trunk organizer -driver cup holder -super brace for the forks -reflectors replaced with lights -cornering lights -driving lights -accessory plug for battery maintainer -chrome platform hitch and ball -chrome luggage rack -chrome rotor covers -chrome windshield accent with gold eagle -chrome cornering light grills -chrome radiator grill -chrome carb covers -chrome air horns that are LOUD -chrome fork covers -chrome coin holder -chrome accents that cover the: -running lights -lower cowl -side fairing vents -speakers -radio knobs -windshield and trunk lip -cb -clutch and brake master cylinders -right hand glove box -and more Maintenance: -Oil changed every 3000 miles. Rear gear oil, fork oil, brake fluid and clutch fluid flushed and changed every 2 years. -3 years ago new clutch and Progressive air shocks. -2 years ago new K&N air filter, spark plugs, timing belts, coolant hoses, thermostat, and trigger wheel. Carbs cleaned and synched. -Last year new battery (Yuasa AGM), tires (Dunlop E3), front rotors and brake pads all with 3500 miles currently on them. The bike also has many green neon and led lights on it that have won several light show awards at rallies. The neons shine on the ground for the ufo or floating effect and the leds shine on the chrome for highlights. I also have 2 covers for the bike. One nylon (older but still does the job) and one cloth. Unfortunately there are a few things wrong with the bike. The gas gauge reads 1/4 over full when full and 1/4 below empty when low fuel light comes on. The channel selector for the cb randomly works when channeling down but always works when channeling up. Some of the chrome is starting to pit and the rotor covers have some stone chips. Both side covers have a broken tab. I have a video of the bike on youtube....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zL77Wn0D9qI If you live in the area and want to take a look at the bike just send me a message. Please ask any questions you have and I will respond as soon as possible.
