Up for your consideration is a 1982 GMC Sierra that has undergone a clean custom restoration. I have owned this truck since 04' and have done all the modifications personally. If you may have any questions please ask, I will be more than willing to answer. When I purchased the truck it was a clean, rust free, stock 6cyl stepside. I since bagged the truck using a 4 link setup in the rear and bags/ drop spindles in the front. A 5 gal tank is tucked under the floor beneath the drivers seat and the Viar 380 compressor and valves can be accessed by removing the drivers side step. A stock 350 engine was installed as well as a stock 350 auto transmission. The engine has a new.. Carb, Water pump, Alt, Plugs/wires , Cap/ Rotor and Fuel pump. I also just serviced the truck....Oil/ filter, Coolant flush, Fuel filter,Trans flush/filter, Brake fluid flush, New pads, greased the fittings etc. I wanted to make sure everything was gone through before selling it. The body was stripped of all the badges and moulding and the fuel door was shaved before I had the truck painted with PPG base/clear. The paint is still nearly flawless and has a very deep wet look. The only bondo on the truck was used to fill the small holes left when the moulding was removed and very little to fill the gas door. I recently installed the Oak bed floor and finished it with 5 coats of spar varnish. The varnish came out kind of orange peely so it may need a sanding/buffing if you want a show finish. A new Optima yellow top is tucked under the bed and has a access door cut out for it. There is also a 15 gal Jegs fuel cell under the bed where the filler neck sticks out. (they sell nice flush mount filler necks but I already spent $80 on the one that was installed before I found out about them). There are four new Pirelli tires on the 18" American racing rims. There is chrome flaking off on the back of the rims and some scuffs and nicks but they still clean up pretty good. 2 new Flowmaster 40 series mufflers were installed and the pipes come out under the passenger side fender before the tire. There are a few things that could use some attention......The Drivers side wing vent is missing the handle, the pass side wing vent closes fine but the bottom has become detached so it doesn't open properly. The gas gauge is not accurate. The dome light lens is missing. When the windshield was re installed after paint, the rubber gasket wouldn't lay flat on the passenger side (as pictured). As of now, the horn button on the after market steering wheel does not work, however I have parts ordered and I will either fix the problem before the truck sells or include the parts with the purchase.
