Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is my beloved Porsche 928s . This is a very complete car with it does have the tools intact in the shelf. It's got a gorgeous body with shiny Guards red paint. It's been very well maintained, but the interior has a few flaws and could use to be re-dyed. Otherwise a really nice interior. The dash only has one crack as does the pod. This car is a seriously strong running car. I'd get in and drive it anywhere. With some TLC you can have a whole lot of car for very little money. It's faster than most of the cars on the road. It handles like its on rails and the 4.7 liter engine doesn't get bad mpg. It has the rear muffler bypass, so folks know it's a v8. Sounds aggressive and soo cool. You can't help but to smile when you drive this car. I have the original chromed dish wheels for it on 16 inch tires as well. Good The drivetrain and engine are all rock solid, and she runs and drives incredibly!! This car is FAST and Fun...handles like a dream New nexen 275/45/17's in the rear, plus the original 16 wheels and tires It's a 5 speed which makes it fast and fun and economical The windows work great All around great car - very solid New Koni big reds Shocks and struts all around ($1100) New brakes all the way around. Doesnt leak, smoke, or use oil. Passed current smog inspection with flying colors. Fresh synthetic oil change, redline in the transaxle, and current inspection. Bad The dash and pod are cracked. The hatch remote actuators aren't working - need to use the key. could use new motor mounts. (included) front plastic bumper valence (lower) is missing. I put the grill back in and attached a homemade spoiler for the very bottom. It actually doesn't look too bad. Seats need to come out and tracks regreased Needs new switch for sunroof Heater fan switch only blows on high Typical light use and wear on paint for 26 year old car Ac Isn't charged, Everything is there, but haven't tested it either. Ugly The electric auxiliary fan doesn't come on automatically, I run it hard wired on hot days if I'm going to be in traffic. Otherwise it's not a problem. Stays in the middle of the temp guage perfectly unless you're in lots of stop and go traffic. Also a relatively cheap fix - temp switch .. I just haven't gotten around to it. Shifting gears quickly or out of rpm range produces the gnash that is typical of these cars. You learn to drive these cars and this issue goes away completely
