This is my ultra-rare 1972 Honda Z600 Coupe micro car which is in outstanding collector's condition. Without a doubt, this is one of the finest Honda Z600 Coupes anywhere in the USA, and probably the nicest one for sale anywhere. I cannot imagine a cleaner, nicer or more original car is offered for sale anywhere- this is truly a museum/collector's condition vehicle. This was one of Honda's first cars sold in the US, and it is estimated that there are only around 300 of these cars left in the USA. These cars have a huge cult following. I can tell you from experience that you get more attention driving in this car than in a Ferrari. This car is so rare that most people have never seen one before. This is a very small car and despite the 598cc engine, this car accelerates quickly and has no trouble maintaining highway speeds. One car magazine claimed to get 136mpg if they did not exceed 30 miles per hour. Amazing! Two large adults fit comfortably in the front seats, the rear seats are smaller but still reasonable. This car was the predecessor of the Civic and a cousin to the original Austin/Morris Mini. The car has 39,206 original miles and it is in outstanding condition with absolutely NO rust or rot of any consequence. It has a 2-cylinder air-cooled engine, 4-speed manual transmission which shifts perfectly, plus a tachometer, which is very useful! The car was repainted a few years ago and it is a very high-quality paint job. The paint has a gorgeous smooth finish and probably looks better than the original paint ever did. The body is beautiful, straight and clean- there are no dings or dents, and the body has no bondo or body filler. The underside of the car is outstandingly clean and solid. Please check out the photos. The interior carpets, upholstery and vinyl are original and they are excellent and in great condition. The car has no mechanical problems and it drives perfectly. The engine starts perfectly and runs great. The brakes, suspension, steering, clutch and transmission are all working great. The tires have good tread and the heat works well. You could drive this car cross-country if you wanted to- this car needs nothing. The original radio is in place but doesn't turn on, instead there is a very nice Sony CD player mounted under the glovebox that sounds great. This car is outstanding- you have probably never seen anything like it. The title reads ACTUAL MILES and it is listed as a 1973 but officially I believe the cars were only imported until 1972. The rear hatch glass has been replaced, but it was an amatuer install, you may want to have a glass company redo the gasketing (easy).
