This 1959 Ford Fairlane 500 Galaxie is a first year production car from when Ford added the Galaxie to the Fairlane and made it one. It is intact and complete with 69553 original miles. This car has been owned by a disabled man who can no longer drive it for many years. It is documented, with free and clear title. It is not restored it is original with the following exceptions. New tires, new starter, trans rebuild less than 50 miles ago, new brakes, new master cylinder, new bumpers (front and rear), new tail lights,, new carpet, new starter new bushing and idler arm. The carb was rebuilt three years ago when it was parked as the gentleman could no longer drive it. We have inspected this car thoroughly, and checked every mechanical aspect. It starts and rund like it has 69 thousand miles on it. The radioator and gas tank have been rotted, flushed and are like new, they aare original as well. All of the trim and interior is original, and in excellent shape, except for the windlace. The passenger rear vent window is cracked, but we are selling it as is due to its original. 292 205 HP engine with all original valve covers, and air filter, Fordomatic 2 speed automatic transmission, original 3:10-1 rear end and axle. Original hub caps and rear wheel covers. Original rain guards on all doors, built on Jan 16 1959 in Norfolk assembly plant, original Ford black enamel paint. Original tube radio that works! Power steering. Data Plate as follows: Body Color Trim 54A A 56 Date Trans Axle 16A 3 1 The vehicle has some minor dings here and there, we have chosen not to change anything due to its incredible originality.
