I am listing this 1964 Impala Super Sport for auction today. It is a great car that I got a few years ago from a gentleman in Scottsdale Arizona, the car has been garage kept since I have owned. The car is in great driving condition and has never left me stranded. The body is straight and the 327 CID motor runs strong and true. Car has power steering, power breaks, heater, wipers, horn, turn signals, gauges, lights work as they should. I have a huge stack of receipts that I will be giving the new owner as well as original hubcaps if you wanted to convert it back to stock. Some of the highlights of the car include new shocks and springs, new upper and lower front ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings top and bottom, new Cragar SS rims and Radial T/A tires (less than a month old, for that mean looking muscle car stance) Kenwood Excellon stereo with Ipod integration routed to the glovebox, Alpine 6x9 speakers in the deck(sounds great) all new window cranks and handles, SS NOS floor mats, new Impala new turn signal lever and hardware so that the turn signal returns to position when turn is complete. It has red interior velour type bucket seats(very comfortable), Optima Red Top battery with new cables and terminal clamps. The car is about 98% complete, I cannot think of anything it is missing but I am sure the truest Impala fanatic could find something. I will add pictures of the engine and trunk soon but they are both just as nice as the rest of the car, I have kept the car as close to stock as possible, the engine still has the 327 CID 300 Horsepower Stickers and NOS factory air cleaner. The car appears to have be painted in the past although the majority of the paint is great, it does appear as if someone put a new hood on it at some point as the new hood and body paint are slightly different( hard to tell unless you are very close) Some of the window seals could be needed as they are complete but aged The original steering wheel has a couple of chips on it from some type of pulley removal(still works perfect) Main carpet has a small bit of sun fade Passenger side exhaust at manifold needs a new donut seal and to be tightened due to a small exhaust leak( easy cheap fix) The body and frame are 95% rust free with just minor bubbling around a couple of spots on rear wheel fenders (Common on these older cars) again something you have to be close to see. It is always better to buy a car that is nice and then fix or change it to your wants than it is to buy a rust-bucket and then realize down the line that it was a total money pit.
