Hello, you are looking at a 1958 Ford F-100 short bed truck. My grandfather bought this truck back in 2005 as a project, he has since fallen terminally ill and needs to sell. Since 2005 this truck has had a lot of money put forth in an effort to fully restore to its original beauty, however it only made it about 3/4 of the way. This is a very good running old truck, the engine and transmission have about 500 miles on them, I know that because I put them both in the vehicle about 2 months ago. The engine is a Ford 302 that has been completely overhauled by a local machine shop back in 2007, and sat wrapped in plastic for 4 years before he recently decided to have it installed. The engine was out of a 70's model Thunderbird, it has a mild cam, headers, tall valve covers, Holley 670cfm truck avenger carburetor with electric fuel pump, Edelbrock intake manifold, electronic ignition, new oil pump, bearings, pistons, gaskets, and seals. Needless to say it's a strong engine. The transmission is a rare 3-speed TCI C-6 smallblock trans with TCI torque converter, custom driveline with B&M megashifter. The truck also has power brakes, and power steering. The suspension has been redone as well, new bushings, leaf springs, and shackles however I do agree the truck needs to be lowered. Most all the body work has been completed, although there may be a couple small areas that could still see some attention, a ding on the hood as well as the passenger door. The truck had a coat of black primer shot about 3 years ago, and has been stored in a garage ever since. This truck does need a real paint job, as well as some attention to the interior. It has some cool swivel seats that car spin a full 360 to make it easier to enter the vehicle with no rips or tears, it has black carpet but needs finishing. The truck also has a tilt steering column out of a 90's ford truck. There is coolant running through the heater, but the fan needs to be wired to a switch. The front and rear windshields are in good shape but we are missing both roll up glass in the doors, but have the runners. The old gauge cluster works but could use replaced. I've been driving this truck to different car shows and events, as well as work and have put around 500 miles on the truck since engine and tranny have been put in.
