The only way they will let me list this vehicle is if I click on salvage under the title options, even though I have a clear Maryland title. AS SHOWN IN MY PICTURES I HAVE A CLEAR MARYLAND TITLE IN HAND!!! Back in 1999 this Mercedes was stolen, recovered by the police and then the original owner bought the vehicle back from the insurance company damage free. A salvage title was never issued! If it would of had salvage history the clear Maryland title would of been noted ***SALVAGE*** but it doesn't. You would never guess in a million years this Mercedes has 213,000 miles on it. It has always been garage kept and meticulously maintained. Tons of new parts over the years. The motor was just fully serviced along with a complete transmission overhaul. Runs just like a Mercedes should! This convertible is finished in a fire red paint with a sand leather interior and a black convertible top. Has power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, am/fm/cd stereo and more. No matter where you go this Mercedes gets all the looks. If your in the market for a convertible Mercedes at a great price that I would look no further! Overall this Mercedes is in great shape for being 25+ years old. Paint looks great and looks to be original. Maybe a small scratch here and there but nothing too noticeable. No dents or body damage anywhere. The only thing I noticed was a small rust bubble on the corner of the front fender where it meets the hood. Besides that the body is nice and straight with no dings, dents or body damage. Paint is a beautiful glossy red that almost looks wet. The undercarriage is rust free and looks great. Wheels and tires are in great shape. Has fairly new Goodyear tires on it. The convertible top is in excellent shape with not a single flaw in it. Folds back and functions like new. Open the doors and you will find the sand leather interior. Leather is in great shape with your normal wear you would expect on the drivers side seat. Carpet is nice and clean and all panels, dash, trim and doorpanels are in great shape. Does have a high dollar cd headunit but it's missing the detachable face. I am going to try to get another one before auctions close but I can't guarantee that. All power options like the power windows, cruise control, air and heat work great. Door jams and trunk jam are in beautiful shape with no rust. Very clean trunk with full size spare and battery box. Carpet is clean with no stains. Open the hood and you will find a super clean 3.8L V8 motor. Starts right up and purrs like a kitten. Always been maintained and serviced with tons of new parts. Transmission was just overhauled and shifts perfect. This Mercedes runs great with no issues to worry about. Overall a super nice 1985 380SL convertible that looks great for being 25+ years old!
