We're so excited about this one-of-a-kind truck, words are just not sufficient. If you've ever considered owning a drivable street rod at an affordable price, your search has just ended. This beauty was stored in a garage for over 40 years and has only 967 miles since the restoration/build. It runs like a bear, sounds like a dream, and is an absolute blast to drive. We have decided to use a buy-it-now/best offer sale, and have set a very reasonable price, so don't wait too long or it will be gone.....you won't find another one like it. We have over 800 positive feedbacks, and have been doing this longer than most. Now for a few details. This special truck began its life in 1927 as a Chrysler sedan. We're told it was common back then for people to convert these sedans to trucks. Apparently there was quite a shortage of trucks and this was one of the ways people made modifications to address this issue. The previous owner/builder had the truck stored for over 40 years in a garage just awaiting restoration. The build was done by Brylen Brajkovich who is a well known hot-rodder here in our local area. The build quality, paint, and body work is exceptional....you will be impressed. We have a DVD with about 80 pictures taken along the way as he was building it out. This will be included as part of the purchase to the new owner. Power, and much of the running gear, comes from a Ford Mustang. It has a late model 5.0L HO 302 V8 under the hood that's tied into a Dual Flowmaster Exhaust system for loads of power and a great sound. The front suspension is from a Mustang, and it also has power brakes with discs up front. The front fenders and body are the original steel from 1927 thanks to it being stored for so long inside where they couldn't rust out. This is a very original truck that has been restored properly and looks great. It is very drivable, and not just a trailer queen that just sits around looking good. The transmission is also from Ford in the form of a T6 5-Speed Manual. Inside, there are cloth upholstered Mustang seats and aluminum trim for a great look. It does not have power steering, but does have power brakes and a tilt steering wheel. The wood sub-structure in the cab is excellent as is pretty much everything else on the truck. This one was built to drive and enjoy, which in our opinion, is the only way to go. Why have an awesome vehicle like this if you can't take it out on the weekends and turn heads wherever you go?? We realize that you enthusiasts out there may have some more detailed questions about the truck. With only 967 miles on the truck since the build, the exterior and interior are in fantastic condition. The Mack Green paint looks amazing, and the engine, trans, and running gear function like new. It does have a current PA inspection, so it is 100% road ready and legal. Please keep in mind that this truck was built to drive, not sit on a trailer or in a garage. Therefore it is not perfect, but I don't think you'll find a better one anywhere. Part of our qualification process is test driving our vehicles. Therefore, this vehicle may have a few more miles than we list above. We try to keep it within 100-200 miles of the number shown above.
