Vehicle Detail

This Truck is my Baby. I built it from the ground up but I have to sell it. I am 60 years old and I had a serious accident. The Doctors gave me an artificial wrist and I also severed a tendon and have limited motion and no feeling. It would be almost impossible for me to physically finish the Truck. The other problem is that I am now medically retired so my Family and I will be moving to Central America in June. In order to take the truck as an antique to Central America, it has to be at least 80% original, and this truck is not. The only option is to sell. It has a small block Chevy with double hump corvette heads and a rv cam. It has an Edelbrock aluminum manifold and Mallory ignition, and headers. I don’t know how many HP but it’s a lot. The Motor only has about 3,000 miles on it. I have only driven it from Oklahoma to Mexico and back. I rebuilt a 700 R-4 transmission with overdrive and installed heavy duty drum, new sprager gears and a corvette shift kit. I just removed the New Process 203 transfer case and replaced it with a New Process 205. The radiator is an aftermarket 3 core replacement with the trans cooler built in. The frame is a 78 chevy factory 4x4. It has a rancho 4” suspension lift kit. The tires are brand new GOODYEAR and they only have about 5 miles on them. The Cab is from a 1954 GMC 5 window 2 Ton truck but it is exactly the same cab as the half tons but since it is so high off the ground these 2 ton cabs are almost rust free. I did however put new lower back cab corner patch panels on it. I shaved the door handles and put late models GM car latches on it. Paint is Lincoln Pearl White. I have the push button lock kit still new in the box to go on it. It is the custom cab so it has the stainless steel windshield trim and door trim. I was in the process of putting power windows on it when I had my accident so they are only started on one door. The 54 cab is mounted onto the 78 frame with new rubber mounts. It has 2002 Blazer bucket seats. The instrument panel has new top of the line Auto Meter Speedometer and 4 gauge cluster (white background). It has the Autometer fuel sending unit also. It also has a brand New Autometer Tach with the chevy bow tie emblem, still in the box and you will need to mount the tach. Wiring harness and steering column is from a 78. Also has new electric windshield wiper motor to replace the vacuum wiper. The windshield and cab corner glasses are original but in very good shape with new rubber. The rear window, wing vents and side glasses are new. The grill is brand new chrome factory replacement. The front and rear bumpers are brand new factory replacement chrome bumpers. I have a brand new chrome splash pan still in box that fits between the grill and front bumper. I have two brand new chrome running boards still in box. The Front clip and bed are 54 chevy. I had pulled the bed off and I put the steel bed floor off of the 78 chevy (see pics) . I had the accident before I had a chance to put it back on, but since the floor is off the 78, the 54 bed bolts to original bolt holes on the 78 truck frame. You will need to re-route the gas filler spout. I have a good clean 2011 tagged transferable Oklahoma Title . I know that I will lose money but I have no other option. Check out all the details of the photos really closely and you will be super impressed. You are going to get one hell of a good truck.
