I am listing this unique STI for a friend of mine who's company had this car built. Here is what he has to say about it: "This 2011 Subaru STI Limited was a project inspired by Subaru rally driver Travis Pastrana. The car was developed for a spring advertising campaign and is owned by an asphalt company. The final result was amazing thanks to combined efforts of the car owners, the Subaru dealership that special ordered the car and especially from the nationally known tuner shop P&L Motorsports located in Chicago. P&L has had multiple Subaru projects featured in Import Tuner and Modified magazines. This company builds professional race cars and fabricates custom work for customers around the world. If you have a Subaru, they are the best. After delivery of the car it was taken to a shop to tint all windows, sunroof and top of windshield. Lenses were also tinted. From there went to a automotive electronics shop to replace factory speakers with top of the line Kicker speakers and a Pioneer 7 inch touch screen head unit with satellite radio and navigation. A rear camera, turbo timer and all stereo wiring was upgraded at this time as well. The car was taken to P&L with 800 miles on it. At this time it was decided to make the car not only look the part but be the part of the ultimate STI. Carbon fiber parts were added to the right and left door pillar frames, trunk lid trim, Momo shift knob and a large front lip spoiler. The car was lowered about a inch and a half. Front and rear heavy duty sway bars were added. All rubber bushings located in the steering, motor, transmission and strut bars were replaced with more rigid polyurethane bushings to increase response. A strut stabilization bar was added. A short through shifter was installed. An air fuel ratio gauge, new high limit Turbo pressure gauge, shift gauge and knock gauge were installed. The turbo was upgraded to a 30R and the intercooler was upgraded to a front mount. Cool air intake was installed. Injectors were upgraded to 1350 along with a under hood fuel pressure gauge and an entirely new fuel system including fuel pumps, fuel rails and plumbing. An oil overflow system was added. A high flow cooling system was added including an upgraded radiator, high pressure hoses, fan upgrade and front cooling vents added. HID fog lamps were added to match the head lights. Rota 9.5” x 18” hyper black wheels with Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's 265/35/18 were added to help car put the all the added power the ground. Red lockable tuner nuts show off nicely. Weather tech floor mats made for this model were added. A custom all stainless, all open exhaust with large stainless down pipe make this car sound unreal!!!! A Cobb access port with dash mount were installed. Driver and passenger Sparco 4 or 6 point harnesses were added. A nationally renowned Subaru tuner was flown in from New York to custom tune this car and program the computer for different fuel octanes. The factory performance switch was programmed to add power and performance intensity with the turn of a switch. This car dinos at 508 horse power at the wheels and held the record for the highest horse power of any 2011 STI in the united states. We are sure we forgot to mention everything done to this car as it was a full time project since the cars arrival. Our last project was a Lamborghini Gallardo. Then this Subaru and now we are excited about our 2011 Audi S5. Everything totaled the investment in this car is around $70,000. Every part on this car is the best we could find and everyone who worked on the car are the best at what they do. As mentioned this car was done as a show car to promote the owner’s business. It has never been raced or abused. This is a ton of car for the money!" He has asked me to list the car NO RESERVE! It has served his promotional purposes and he is on to the next project.
