1992 GEO METRO LSI CONVERTIBLE This is a real nice example of a Geo Metro. . Only ever having 4 owners, this Geo was in Maryland until 07 when it came to Michigan. With no rust, this Geo is sporting competition blue paint. It was painted about 6 years ago. It has 133xxx on the odometer. shows 33because it is only a 5 digit cluster. 133k is the original mileage no doubt. Stored indoors for the last 4 years that I know of, by the condition, it obviously must have been garaged kept prior to that also. The tires are brand new, and the top is a few years old. All 4 original hub caps are on the rims and included. No rips or tears, but the back window is a bit foggy. The convertible top opens and retracts as it should.. The 3 piece boot is present and works as it should. These are usually broken or missing on Geo conv., but this car has them. All of the seals present and work. There is some wear on the seats. More on the driver than anything.. Carpet has minimal wear with little staining. All the light and wiper switch buttons are present and working. The horn button has been changed to a push button to the right of wheel. There are cracks in the dash. Three of them. The seat belts work as they should and look good. The door panels are in good condition the drivers side does have a small gouge near the bottom. The inner and outer door handles work as they should. There are no cracks in the glass. The door windows roll up and down as they should. The passenger window has the vertical rubbing that is known with these cars. The black trim at the top of the doors and around the top opening are in very nice condition. The paint shines like new and is in extremely good condition for being six years old. There are a couple of scuffs and dings, but nothing significant. All are pictured. The headlights are fairly clear, and show nice. The turn and running light lenses are also crack free and like new. Same for the rear tail light lenses, no cracks or holes, and are like new. The mirrors are crack free, and the housings shine and look like new. There is no rust through on the car. The rocker panels are completely solid. The floor boards are also clean and rust free. The control arm mounts or "horns", are clean and completely rust free. The engine bay is clean. All belts and fluids are clean and in good working order. This little 1 liter screamer runs out as beautifully as it did 20 years ago. There are no drips or leaks present. The cam and crank seals have been changed, as was the timing belt. The automatic transmission shifts as it should. The exhaust looks brand new and sounds good. The brakes have been inspected and are 75%, in excellent condition. The spare tire is brand new, and the jack and tools are present and appear to have never been used. The spare tire well is rust free. This car came with Air Conditioning from the factory, but the condenser and compressor have been removed. There is nothing bad I can say about this car. This is a real nice example of a 20 year old car.
