Good Condition 1995 Mercedes-Benz S500 with 82,862 Original Miles 1995 Mercedes-Benz S500; looks great, runs great, and drives like a dream. Unfortunately I have to pass it on to someone else as I need to lease a newer car for work. I have owned the car since 2009 when it had about 65,000 miles on it and I've taken great care of it since. The paint is in great shape and the car looks like a much newer car. You can see what good condition it is in from the pictures. I'm letting it go for a good price because of a few minor issues, most of which were existing I purchased the car and none of which affect the functionality or driveability of the car. The car has been recently detailed and is immaculate inside. The title is clean with no accidents. I have a good amount of documentation to go along with the car including numerous original manuals and a bill of sale and service receipts from the previous owner and a copy of a title from New York. The car was originally titled in New York up until about 55,000 miles but has been in Florida for several years. You can see from the pictures that the underside is in great shape, so I can't imagine that it was used in the winter in New York. The service receipts detail an inspection from when it was sold in New York and about $4,000 in work done by the previous owner. I've spent about $2,500 on non-essential maintenance myself, mostly on the interior and some mechanical work right after I bought it. Interior The interior is in great shape. There are no cracks or fading in the dashboard, all of the interior leather is in good shape. Instrument cluster is in good shape and all gauges and lights are working. The center console and foldable armrest are also in good shape and all of the buttons function correctly. The carpets are also good all over with no stains and the car includes Mercedes-Benz floor mats. Ash trays look unused and the car has not been smoked in. Front and back seats in good condition; there is a crack in the driver's seat but it is not big. The seat covers are real sheep skin and are custom fitted. I'll be happy to include these in the sale. The seats are in good shape underneath the covers. The front and rear power seat controls function well. Rear armrest, seat backs and door interiors are all in good shape. The rear dash is covered with carpet which has no stains or fading. The only issue with the interior is that the sunroof works mechanically but the interior cover cannot be opened. Otherwise the interior is in great shape. Exterior The dark blue paint is rich and in good condition. There is minor peeling on top of the wing mirrors which has been existing since I purchased the car and has not worsened. All of the plastic trim is in good condition with no fading. There is some fading on the chrome B-pillars which you can see in the pictures. The power antenna and reversing guides extend and retract properly, all of the handles work well and the trunk opener works properly. The lights are all in good condition as are the rubber seals on the exterior. The car has no leaks. Fitment of all parts is good and the bumpers are solid. Mechanical Mechanically the car in in great condition. The car starts easily and reliably, has plenty of power, and rides very smoothly. The steering is light and precise and the brakes have good response and feel. Air conditioning and heater work fine, as does the cruise control, driving lights, highbeams/flashers, indicators and wipers. I've kept the car well maintained and performed all scheduled maintenance. The engine bay looks good; the engine is clean and all of the drainage channels are clear. The underside is in good shape. Exhausts look in good condition and are quiet. There are a few minor mechanical issues which do not affect the driveability of the car. The passenger's side rear power window is very slow and does not close easily. The 3rd brake light (the one in the back window) has also stopped working. This would be an easy fix but I haven't had the car in the garage since it went out. The check engine light has also been on since shortly after I purchased the car. The mechanic that serviced it right after I bought it pulled the code and told me that the problem was minor and would not need to be fixed, so I left it and it has had no problems since. Otherwise there are no other issues with the car. Of course, it runs great and drives outstandingly. It's never broken down and I've never had to perform any maintenance on it to keep it running.
