Hi and thanks for looking. I need to part with an old part of my life as I lost storage for her and she needs a good home. This car was purchased back around 1987 by my father from a local gentleman who restored the car to very good shape. I bought the car back in 2003 and my dad passed shortly after. I’ve done my best to maintain the car but as you can see in the pictures the paint is starting to fail. The car itself is very sound , no frame or body rot at all. The motor runs like a champ – starts right up every time. When the car was restored back in the late 80’s I was told it was a very good restoration but I am no expert on these cars. I do know it has a camel hair interior which is still in very good shape, I would grade the interior as above average but the headliner does show a small water spot in the rear passenger side. I have gone over the roof for leaks, it may be an old spot, not sure. I do remember the guy saying the steering wheel is also original and was very hard to come by. It has the original mechanical brakes. The paint (at the time) was the proper colors, however it looks as if the primer used may be the reason it is now starting to peel off. Over the years I replaced the carburetor (still have original), fuel valve, water pump and I put a new exhaust and battery in the car a few years ago as well as a complete tune-up. Tires are very good. I still have the original owners manual. I think this is a very easy restoration for someone with the tools and know-how.
