Up for bid is my 1978 Silver Anniversary Edition T-Top Coupe Corvette with 17,563.0 actual miles. I am the 2nd adult owner, having purchased it from the original owners back in April of 1998. They had ordered this Corvette through a small dealership in central Illinois and were awaiting it's arrival when they got the call from their dealer on Super Bowl Sunday, 1978 that it had come in. They left their own party to pick up the Corvette they had been anxiously waiting for, as the story was told to my wife and I. It has always been garaged and everything is in good working condition, having always been well maintained and driven only on nice days. As you can see from my pictures, the care that has been shown to this car is evident. This Corvette is an excellent example of what a true factory original car would have looked and driven like back in 1978. It would show exceptionally well in the in the survivor class. It comes with it's original copy of the Dealer's order form, build sheet, invoice (dealer's copy), owner's manual, sun visor sleeve, promotional brochure, warranty pamphlet, etc. * Original carpet lightly faded but in excellent condition aside from being 33 years old. * This car is being sold "as is" without a warranty.
