1973 Mercury Cougar Convertible Extremely Rare Original 351 Cleveland 75,821 Original Miles Being offered is an extremely nice 1973 Mercury Cougar convertible. This vehicle is very fresh looking with excellent paint and interior. The vehicle is equipped with its original drivetrain including a 351 Cleveland V8 motor with an FMX automatic transmission. This vehicle runs, drives, and stops excellent. This is a very rare car, only 1,284 standard Cougar Convertibles were produced this year and this is an excellent, museum quality example, and in fact was purchased by the previous owner out of a museum. This is the last year of the Cougar convertible production. These cars are becoming more collectible every day and when the top goes down the value goes up. Interior Highlights The interior of this vehicle is in excellent condition with no rips, tears, or cracks as can be seen in the pictures. The car is equipped with excellent and trim plate correct CW code interior. The white vinyl bucket seats are excellent. The carpet, door panels, console, visors, and dash are excellent.
