I'll be very sad to see this car go. It's gorgeous. Everyone who sees the car loves it. I'm only selling it because I'll be travelling for work most of the summer and do not want to be paying for a car I'm not using. I had previously owned a 2004 9-3 Aero and this one has been worlds better in build quality and reliability. Those early model years had many issues, but this one has been incredibly sound. There are two important notes on the vehicle history. 1) Prior to buying it, the vehicle had damage from hail (I bought it in Minnesota), but was completely repaired new (I never noticed so much as a scratch). 2) Only 6 weeks after buying it, a nitwit on her cell phone rear-ended me (at about 15 mph). It was completely and perfectly repaired/restored as new (I had my dealer inspect it after body shop had completed their work). And I've seen no lingering issues related to it...and believe me I'm _very_ nitpicky about such things. The vehicle still has the remainder of the manufacturer warranty (4yr/50k mile). I purchased the car new in February of 2010, so you can feel comfortable & confident in your purchase. It also includes 3yr/36k mile scheduled maintenance, so just bring it into your local Saab dealer for scheduled service. Notably, this was _the_ last 2009 Aero SportCombi sold with a manual transmission in all of the US. At the time, Saab's future was uncertain and dealer inventories had dwindled to next to nothing. And while there were still plenty of Aero SportCombi automatics, there was only one 6-speed manual left in all of the US. There were a few 2008s, but those lacked bluetooth and the new model year 2010 9-3s lacked the nice V6 engine. So that's why I travelled out to Minnesota to buy the car. Was a fun drive back to Massachusetts! As mentioned above, my prior car was a 2004 Aero which had FWD. That thing chewed up tires like no tomorrow. On the SportCombi with XWD, the tires are still in excellent tread condition after 17k miles....a nice side benefit of all four wheels moving in sync. The car also performs amazingly well in the snow. The FWD Saab required that I rotate and seasonally swap summer/winter tires/wheels (kind of a pain). With XWD I can go year round without doing either! You can see from the pictures that I treat this car very well. I love keeping it in clean and pristine condition. It's truly a joy to drive! Later in the fall, I plan to get back into a new Saab. KBB Private Party Value: $31k. Low reserve. And be careful not get outbid at the last second. Be sure to bid the maximum amount you'd be willing to pay. I've often heard from bidders after an auction ends how they regret not bidding slightly higher to win the item.
