1986 Honda ATC 250r completely stock Up for sale is a real clean totally stock ’86 Honda ATC 250r water cooled model. No Air Fools here! Check out my other items too for some ATC’s, TRX’s and a CR’s that that I am selling off. I got a little hammered this year on my taxes, so the toys are going. I have spent the last few years putting this collection together, and it pains me to sell these bikes, but so it is… Details on this bike: This bike is completely 100% stock, with the exception of the air filter, which is a Uni. This bike is in good clean condition. I personally would not call it a show winner, but it is 100% stock, clean looking, all there and is a true survivor from the era when Trikes were king. Details: · No missing OEM parts, and starts on the first kick. · Its clean. It does have surface rust on the axle in the normal spot and some wear marks on the frame. · If I were keeping it, I would paint the frame, and it make a huge improvement. But, it does look fine as it sits. · The plastic is good, no rips, tears or breaks. Normal scuffing from wear. · The rear fender on the shifter side number plate has what appears to be a bend, but it is hard to photograph, and the number plate decal covers it up. It is not a big deal, and it is not broken or cracked. · I have a clean California title for this bike · Starts, idles and runs perfectly. Top end was replaced by previous owner one time and bike has great compression. · I would rate rear Stock Ohtsu tires at 55% tread life. Not new, but still thick and meaty. They are original. No dry cracking on them. · Seat, swing arm, took kit are all clean. · I replaced the shrouds with OEM NOS ones, as well as the kill switch. They are both brand new parts. I replaced them because I thought it would make the bike look better, not because they were broken. I still have the old ones, but was not including them in the sale. Overall, I would rate this bike an 8 or 8.5 out of 10, as it is a true surviving un-restored original bike. Finding an ATC that has not been restored or molested is rare, and this is a great example of one. Will make a great rider, or restoration project. If you do want to restore, you wont have to buy a single part.
