For sale is my 2004 BMW M3 Convertible. Approx. 94k miles. Imola Red exterior on nappa black leather interior. 6-speed manual transmission. History: I have owned this car since last December but really need more room so it may be time to move to a 4-door M3 or IS-F instead. I purchased this car from a dealership in Arlington, TX. The maintenance is up to date and I have all the service records for the car since I have owned it and all of the records from the previous owners as well. The car spent most of its life in Dallas, TX and was serviced at the dealership there (this is documented in the service records from BMW). As with all my cars, this one has been meticulously maintained. I change the oil every 5k-7k instead of the BMW recommended 15k. Always using Castrol 10w60 specifically recommended for M spec cars. All differential and transmission fluids are changed with high quality Motul GEAR FF & Pentosin OE LT-2. Filters are replaced only with BMW OEM. The car has 2 brand new front tires and was aligned recently to factory specifications. Features: (car has almost every factory option except navigation)- Engine is completely stock and has not been toyed with or modified in any way. - Exterior has matte black front and side grilles which I installed in place of the factory chrome. The original grilles will also come with car if you prefer that look instead.- Cold weather package- OEM Harmon-Kardon stereo system with stock subwoofer- Heated driver and passenger seats- Rear parking distance monitor- OEM Bi-Xenon HID headlights- Dynamic Stability Control- Optional staggered 19 inch BMW OEM M wheels- OEM auxiliary port for MP3 player or iPod- OEM hands-free bluetooth (works great with my iPhone 3GS)- BMW Assist- Full power convertible top- Keyless entry/remote control windows and convertible top- BMW OEM M3 floormats Condition: As you would expect from a car of this year and mileage it is not absolutely showroom perfect; but its pretty close... I had the paint professionally buffed and waxed. The result is almost NO swirl marks and the nice deep finish you see in the pictures. I have included a before and after photo so you can see the difference. I also keep 3-5 coats of Zaino wax on this car at all times. I also use Zaino leather conditioner on the seats to keep them from fading when the top is down. There are a few areas that are worth mentioning though. There is a small ding the corner of the trunk about the size of a quarter. Not sure what caused this but its only noticeable if you look at it from the correct angle. There is also a small scrape on the lower portion of the front splitter on the passenger side. I may install CSL splitters to cover this, but again, if you aren't looking for it, you won't see it. I have not had any mechanical problems what-so-ever. The only issues I have had with the car is a Xenon ballast replaced over the winter, the auto-dim on the mirror does not function (which is very common on BMWs) and the glove box handle sometimes acts strange with locking/unlocking, although I'm told this may just be the way it is on all vert 3 series from the factory. Payment/Shipping/Pickup: A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close. The remainder of the final amount is due with 5 business days of auction close. Do not waste my time if you are not a serious buyer. Do not try to low ball me for a ridiculous amount. Do not offer me trade-in value either, if I wanted the trade-in amount I'd just go to carmax. Also, I don't care if you found another car for cheaper, if its such a good deal, go buy it.
