I have decided to sell my 1984 XR500r. You would be hard pressed to find one in better condition, mechanical or body/frame. The bike has BRAND NEW ProTaper handlebars, grips and tires. Take a look at the pictures and you'll see why it's such a sweet find. There was another one listed on ebay at the time of my listing and I think mine is just as nice or possibly even nicer. The bike works as you would expect it to. It has low hours and has a ton of low end torque for desert, trail or hillclimbing type riding. The engine doesn't leak or burn oil and purrs like a kitten. The bike is equipped with a speed-o-meter and trip meter, both of which work flawlessly. The seat is in EXCELLENT condition and doesn't have any tears at all. Look at the pics and you'll be convinced that this is the nicest XR500r around. You had one as a teenager! Now go back in time and re-live those fun times. I have the original title as well.
