You're looking at a beautiful yellow 1973 Triumph Spitfire 1500 with a redone interior, nice body and decent engine. This little beauty has been garage stored for about 10 years, so it's been kept safe and out of the weather. I've owned it since 1991, and need to sell simply because we're moving to a new home and can't take it with us. BODY CONDITION: Little to no rust, with a few very minor dings. The floor pans do need to be replaced, as is common with this car type. It needs a new windshield due to yellowing with age. The soft top works great - it just has one small tear in the plastic back window. INTERIOR: The seat upholstery was replaced with a nice black and white hounds-tooth fabric with back trim. The carpets were all replaced and look brand-new. The wood dash is in good condition. The odometer doesn't work, so the mileage listed is not accurate. ENGINE: The engine was rebuilt 12 years ago by a professional mechanic and it was in very good working order. The commute to and from work forced her into the garage, where she's been ever since. With some quality time, the engine can be made to purr like she once did. EXTRAS: An alarm system has been installed, along with a Blaupunkt CD player and speakers for a great ride with loud music.
