1982 Honda Silver Wing

I am selling this motocycle as a parts bike, which means it could easily bring three times the reserve price if sold as parts. This bike represents one of the two 1982 Honda 500 series that I am putting out on Ebay (as parts bikes). See the listings for the other bike (which is a 1982 CX500 Custom). For your information, it doesn’t have to be this way for you, this bike has had a good maintenance history and was running just fine, as it was licensed and plated until last year. I rebuilt the carburetors about six months ago and I can’t seem to get it started again. I suspect the fuel petcock is also not working properly. Never-the-less, I don’t have the spare time to deal with it anymore because of other responsibilities. I love the bike, (my loss your gain). I suspect any good mechanic could get it running again ... pronto, its currently getting a spark and seems to be getting fuel as well. There is currently a big following of enthusiasts online for this these particular motocycle series (do an ebay search to check it out your on your own), no problem finding parts for it new or used, and it was one of Honda’s most popular bikes during that time. You can even start a side line business selling these parts as many have done. Comes with: -Full rear matching trunk (not pictured) -Has new tires -Stator replaced at 30,000 miles -Three manuals (Chilton, Haynes, original factory repair manual) Other things wrong with it: -Slight oil leak -Front brake line is severed -Some rust pitting inside and outside the gas tank -tear in seat -plexiglass windsheild is missing Any other questions just ask away.
