For sale is my 1983 Mercedes Benz 300SD. This is the full size S-class Mercedes Turbo Diesel.Please see the pictures to appreciate the condition of this MBZ. The paint is near perfect condition, a few door dings here and there, but overall its good. Inside of the car is very clean, detailed by professionals a month ago. All of the power options work with the exception of the sunroof and rear right window. Mechanically its sound. The engine is smooth and the transmission shifts perfectly, no slippage in any gear.Recently, I have replaced the glow plugs, transmission oil, engine oil as well as the oil filter and seal.The turbo works and sounds excellent. The acceleration is very good for this type of vehicle.It gets going very quick. The tires have about 70% thread left. A/C and heater works and climate-control buttons work as they should. I get around 24 mpg in the city and 31 on hwy. Excellent fuel economy for a full size Mercedes, although I have seen people get better mpg.The MBZ is a pleasure to drive and look at. Mechanically this car runs well, but it has a a few cosmetic imperfections; crack in dashboard and windshield. This one can be easily converted to Bio Diesel or Vegetable oil. Mercedes diesels have the strongest diesel injection pumps around and the easiest cars to modify for alternative fuel. I have spent a lot of money restoring this one, I never thought I'd be selling it. But I have too much cars and this one must go.
