This is a 2000 Porsche Boxster project car. I recently bought this car but like always something else came up, a car I have been trying to buy for years became available so sadly the Porsche must go! It has 135k on the clock, std transmission. brand new professionally installed cloth roof. recently new water pump, tires have great tread, everything was working fine until the engine failed. The interior of the car is in near mint condition with no rips or tears. the body is very nice with only a minor crack on the pass rear corner of the bumper (see pic) otherwise the body is very straight and damage free. the paint still shines nicely but does have some peppering on the bumper from highway driving. it is missing the drivers side front corner marker reflector ( very cheap to replace). the engine is suspected to have a broken connecting rod, I have done nothing to confirm this, i did look under and cannot see any damage to the block. I would plan on replacing the engine completely rather than mess with fixing it but that is up to the new owner to decide. maybe a 3.4 or 3.6 conversion? this is the perfect project car! swap out the engine and have some fun this summer! there is a good how to at www.nutrod.com its actually a rather easy job to swap out the engine on one of these cars I have a clear title for the car as well. car must be paid in full within 3 days of auction end and must be picked up within 2 weeks.
