1949 HUDSON COMMODORE 8 One of the coolest big cars of it's day. So big with it's step down style, it seems like you can fit 8 people in it comfortably. This car was fully restored about 20 years ago by a private collection. I purchased the car about 8 years ago and planned to restore it once again for my father who is a huge hudson fan. We begin disassembly of the car but didnt get far before i came across a 1951 Hudson Hornet that was near perfect condition. I bought that one, worked on it and never got back to the other hudson you see in this ad. The car comes with tons of parts and all of its original paperwork, manuals and so forth. The previous owner provided lots of extra parts for it as this car was one of 4 he had. At the time i purchased the car, he was using it as a daily driver up in NY to go the beach. We drove it for a year before starting to take it apart. It is currently not in running condition with many components in the engine compartment not connected including wiring. We have parts and most major components are in it. The car is original with original engine and transmission. We planned to drop a crate motor in it and turn it into a hot rod but never got that far. This car would be a great restoration or hot rod project for someone. I just cant get to it with many other cars in our collection.
