When we receive funds from the buyer or through the established financial institution, the buyer may take delivery of their vehicle.
Fee and Tax Information:
If you live in Texas, you must pay 6.25% of the sales price for state sales tax. Out-of-state buyers may register and pay applicable taxes in their own state.
All buyers are required to pay Texas Vehicle Inventory Tax (VIT) of .1816% of the purchase price. (The VIT is based on the county in Texas where the dealership in located. Covert Ford Austin is located in Travis County.)
