NO RESERVE AUCTION1959 Metropolitan Coupe - straight solid body - the paint on the roof is cracking and the paint on the body has some bubbling - there are some small rust holes in the floor, see photos - there is an extra grill, 1 aluminum door jam piece and a couple of extra miscellaneous parts - all parts for these cars are available on the Internet - this car has an extremely rare "hood piece" on the hood - also has a desirable matching set of black and yellow California license plates which are out of the DMV computer system - the car is complete less the interior, it's missing the front chrome pieces around the grill, missing the rear trunk hinges, no battery, no ignition key, no title - there is 1 lower front seat cushion and the back seat "back cushion" is there - this is a 52 year old car and shows only 11032 miles on the odometer - there's really no way of knowing the exact miles this car has driven - there is no title for this car and it's out of the California DMV computer records so the buyer will need to use this eBay auction as proof of purchase when they go to their local DMV to register it. The vehicle is not running and has been sitting for several years. It's ready to be restored. These cars were only made from 1953 to 1961, with the hood ornament on this car only being made for a short time.
