Bank Repossession for Sale. Seller is a community bank in eastern Missouri. The seller holds a Repossessed Title issued by the State of Missouri Department of Revenue. CAVEAT EMPTOR is the motto for this auction. If you are not sure as to the translation of that wonderful old Latin phrase, it is "Let the buyer beware". This 2005 Chrysler Sebring is being sold for a small community bank in eastern Missouri. The car peacefully surrendered and delivered to our bank parking lot. There is no nice way to say this, THE INTERIOR IS TRASHED. I disclosed that the interior color is Gray on the listing because Ebay does not offer "Grime" or "Filth" as options. When the car was delivered it had a temporary donut on the right front. We were able to have the flat tire repaired and reinstalled. You can see in the photo the chalk outline of where the patch was applied. You may make your own assessments as to the longevity of that patch. Underneath the right rear tire you will note a brake disc being utilized as a parking chock. The Parking brake and parking pawl of the transmission appear to be working properly. The wheel chock was an extra pre-caution when we had the car on the jack reinstalling the repaired tire. We have not had any mechanical inspections performed upon the car. I have driven the car a total of 2 miles. I believe that the brakes will need to be replaced soon. The tires are quite worn. The radio appears to work as does the AC and heat. However the previous driver smoked heavilly. We have not had any detail work done on this car. I do not know if you will be able to clean the upholstery sufficiently to discharge the foul combination of stale smoke and clashing perfumes. Depending upon the sensitivity of your nose, you may opt to replace all of the upholstery to eliminate its malodorous condition. Exterior condition of the car is also tired. You will note the split in the front spoiler, the dent in the passenger door. the broken contact points of the inner and outer fenders, the dent scratches and other damage in the left rear corner, and the split dash visible through the windshield along with a wide variety of parking lot trophies visible to the naked eye, but apparently impervious to the camera. Contrary to the auto-populate listing feature of Ebay, this car does NOT HAVE a sunroof. This car needs some TLC and it could be a nice first car for a teenager, or perhaps a "spare car" as those can be handy. This Chrysler Sebring is being sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranties expressed or implied. The information given in this description is the best information available to the seller.
