For Sale: 1967 XR7 GT project This is the one. 390 big block with 4 speed. PS, PDB, A/C, no vinyl top, s/s wheels, center console, every option available in 1967 except tilt wheel and speed control. I have the Marti report for the car as well to verify its VIN and production options. I searched a long time for this car and I never thought the day would come that I would sell it. But after letting it sit for so long, I do not ever foresee myself having it finished, so I would like to offer this car to someone who can restore this car to its former glory. This car is very much a project, but the most difficult parts are already done. The body is finished in sealer primer now. Rear quarters replaced with clean donors. Trunk floors replaced with donor pieces. Rear wheel housings replaced with reproduction Mustang parts. Rear frame rails replaced as well. All body work done in 2006. Car has been garaged since then. Originally Inverness Green with Saddle interior. Interior is now black. The original engine/tranny combination was taken for a Mustang I was told, but a replacement 68 390 big block is in place. It turns over but is not currently running. There is a non working FMX tranny in place now, but a correct short nosed 10 spline top loader is included. The original 9” rear is in place. The only drive train pieces missing are the shifter, and clutch pedal linkage. In addition, included are an extra set of doors, and trunk lid. Driver’s door is excellent, Passenger door has no rust but glass is broken, and has a dent. Trunk lid lip has rust but not all the way through. Both an automatic and a manual center console are included. Both are excellent. An abundance of new parts are included, full 2” exhaust, full brake system rebuild, leaf springs, power steering hoses.
