Vehicle Detail
Offered is a 1950 CHEVROLET long bed pickup. When trucks were used on the farm, this was a favorite of choice, with classic styling and timeless dependability. This is example is complete and ideal for a restoration project or major parts source. The body, panels, and hood are all solid with only surface discoloration. The trim badges are intact and four hub caps are present. Wooden bed strips are missing, but brackets are present. Please view the pictures and email with any questions. Buyer to pay a $250 deposit via Paypal, and the balance via other method at time of pickup. A bill of sale will be provided, as there is no title. The vehicle is being sold "as is" "where is". No warranty is stated or implied. Local pickup only. Any shipping arrangements are to be made by the buyer. On Apr-28-11 at 07:54:42 PDT, seller added the following information: The truck does NOT run. The engine is complete, but no mechanical evaluation has been performed. The vehicle was towed in by a customer to this body shop, which I am selling it for. The truck was prepped and put into primer. The owner abandoned the vehicle, and new ownership was awarded through the court system. It is a solid vehicle that is a good restoration candidate or a great source for parts. The vehicle can be stored for a reasonable period of time, provided payment has been made in full. Thank you for your interest. On May-02-11 at 06:48:08 PDT, seller added the following information: The court documents showing ownership transfer to the body shop will be included with the bill-of-sale. In Georgia, a vehicle was not required to be titled until 1963, making this 1950 truck exempt. All transactions took place via a bill-of-sale, which is why this truck never had a title. However, the truck can be titled, if desired. A trip to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles with a bill-of-sale will allow for an application to apply for a title.
