Ive decided to sell this truck that I have had for a few years now,Sorry but the photos are from the past winter,but show what it is pretty well.Its an original napco conversion from 1955.the story I got is it was a south dakota forestry truck,It still has a dakota title,I had replaced all the brakes,last summer.as well as new clutch,and throw out bearing,It runs,but the carb is not original and does leak some,so it takes a bit to keep running,It would drive up on a trailer.overall condition is not bad,Naturally it was used so it does have lots of small dents,dings and overall battle wounds,but by no means a rust bucket,very solid floors,rockers ,frame,with all original parts.The axel,shifters,inspection plates,direction plates,etc.are hard enough to find in themselves.This is the real deal if you want to restore a napco,or just have a cool 4 wheel drive truck without a lot of work.The bad, The original seat is long gone,It has just one bucket seat,there is a hole in the lower back of cab,where there was somekind of attachment going out off a PTO which my understanding was that it was used for spraying the highway ditches.The bed was wood which has obviously all rotted by now and will need replacing,Basically what you see is it,It does have another set of wheels and tires that I will include,They are taller and mounted on decent rubber,probablly look better than the ones on it but I havent bothered to change them.I believe the door glass on one side is cracked,but these truck bodies and parts are pretty easy to find parts for,The real value is in the original napco here,sheetmetal is all the same and could be found and replaced easily if wanted.Please call or email with any questions,thanks ,Patrick.507 269 1265.the truck is located in southern minnesota,zip is 55904,I can line you up with a shipper if needed.thanks. On Apr-28-11 at 19:21:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I am getting a lot of people asking what my reserve is or "How much is it".This is an auction people,It seems like most people know how to look at ebay,but have no idea how this works,I do not have a buy it now,I will not disclose my reserve,If I wanted to do that I would have obviously had a starting bid at the least I want to take for the car.If you want this vehicle for a certain price,bid what you are willing to pay and maybe you will win.Thats usually how any auction I go to works. Sorry to sound like a dick,but I am getting tired of answering this same question over and over.Thanks for looking,and call with any questions pertaining to condition,pics or other info,but please dont ask for my reserve or for a buy it now,I have ended auctions early before ,only to get some b.s. storys about why the person now cannot complete the deal..never again.
