Up for sale is an immaculate 1999 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible, with only 14,067 original miles!!! I just relisted this car for the 4th time. I had it sold once, but the buyer wasn't a serious bidder. SO; PLEASE SERIOUSLY INQUIRES ONLY!!!!! I also uploaded more pictures which were just taken this weekend after I pulled the car out of storage; the new pictures are dated. As you can see, I haven't put very many miles on it since I purchased it in 2009- less than 500. The car is absolutely mint,you will not be dissappointed!!!!!! This car is in pristine condition, and doesn't have any scratches, scrapes, dings or dents- it looks like it did the day it rolled off the factory line. I am the third owner of this car, and I purchased it from a guy in Illinois in 2009. The car has never seen rain or snow, and has always been stored indoors. These cars come from the factory with a 320 HP hand built all aluminum 32V DOHC 4.6L (281 C.I) motor, that has been signed by the actual engine builders. This was also the first Mustang to come through with an independent rear suspension. It comes factory with a tremec 5 speed transmission, brembo brakes, a mach stereo system, and full power everything. The seats don't even look like they've ever been used. The owner before me tastefully modified this car before I purchased it, with about $4,000 in modifications. It is equipped with: -Full exhaust system- BBK Headers which go back to a Borla X-Pipe and a full Borla Stinger exhaust system -Custom tuned Diablosport Chip -K&N Cold Air Intake -B&M Short Throw Shifter -Performance Toyo Tires (about $800 in tires) - Lowering Springs - "Saleen Style" Styling Bar with taillight - Smoked 03-04 Cobra Style Headlights The exhaust on this car is one of the most expensive systems offered for this car, and it has the nicest tone of any car around- it sounds like a quieter version of a NASCAR stockcar when it goes up the road. I estimate the car probably has about 400 hp with these modifications. The lowering springs lower the ride height about 1" from a stock Cobra. The short throw shifter has a really close throw, which reduces shift times. The clutch feels like brand new. The Toyo tires are like brand new. Whether you choose to believe me or not, I can tell you this car has never been beat on. This is actually my second 1999 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra, as I have owned an identical one previously- so I am no stranger to these cars. This car also has a Saleen style styling bar with a taillight which adds a unique look when the top goes down. The top has no cracks or any signs of wear. The car also comes with two car covers, the original cobra cover and an aftermarket one. It has brand new original cobra floormats which have never been used and are still in the box. It has updated 03-04 Black cobra headlights, as well as the original ones. I also have the original exhaust manifolds, but not the exhaust. This car has had the Ford factory recall on the intake manifold and the computer flash, which was initiated in 2000. I have the original window sticker framed nicely with the original SVT certificate and the brochures. This is number 667 of 4,055 convertibles made that year, as stated on the certificate. It is 1 of 608 SVT Cobra Convertibles that were made in Rio Red with the tan interior and tan top, and 1 of 8095 total Cobra's built in 1999. It comes with the original CD's that ford even sent this car with, the owner's manuals, etc. This car literally is as close as you can get to buying it right off the showroom floor.
