I have a 1980 cheverolet El Camino for sale. I had the car for 5 or 6 years, it runs but at the same time is somewhat of a project car, and the reason why i am selling the car, is because i do not have the time for it anymore. The car first and foremost has lots of rust especially on the bed or back. On the exterior is got dents on the body but it could be fixed, on the pictures, i had some left over white drywall putty, that i used to pretty much cover the rust or dents areas. On the interior is not that bad but does need TLC. The engine i believe that is been bored to a 350, but if not, in any case it is a 305 v8. My recommendations as far as fixing the exterior are new doors, defitnely the bed has lots of rust, new windshield and outside mirrors, maybe a new tailgate, new rims and tires, i might switch out the front end to the single headlight front end. On the Interior it does not come with a radio, but as far of the seats, panels, inside trimming just needs some TLC. Engine wise like i said it runs, but the intake manifold is leaking and i will highly recommend to replace it as soon as possible. A better carburator will be better, and new spark plugs with wires for better performance. The transmission is automatic, but i think that it needs to be service although i still drive it around and do the shifting manually. It does need new shocks, and maybe some new brake pads. Overall is an el camino that needs TLC, but at the end of the day, rust or not, is a running el camino, and is a CLASSIC. IF YOU DON'T INTEND ON BUYING THE CAR, PLEASE DO NOT BID.
