Vehicle Detail

Here is a very restorable 1967 Belvedere. I originally purchased this from a friend of mine and my plans were to clone it into a GTX. I have done nothing to this car except cut the right rear quarter away. It is rusted behind the quarters, but all of the parts and sheet metal to replace are rather inexpensive. Someone with the time (which I just don't have) can bring this beautiful survivor back to the condition it deserves. The odometer reads 41,000 and change, but not sure if this is correct. I do know that the car sat in my friends building away from the elements for over 8 years, and before that it sat for may more years. This car is alot more than it looks in the pictures. All of the glass is perfect. No cracks or wiper scratch marks at all. The windows front and rear work perfectly as they should. The interior is in surprisingly good shape for the age. All I can see that it will need for interior is the seats recovered and a new headliner. Carpet and door panels loog good. This is the cool part. The white vinyl top is in almost perfect condition. It litarally looks new. Very uncommon on a car this old. The doors open and shut great. No sagging at all. The car does run and run well, but the brakes bleed down every month or so, therefore it is not drivable as yet, but if the winning bidder wants to drive it home, I can bleed the brakes out and it stops fine. This car runs great. It has the original 273 V-8 with auto trans. It also has the factory single exhaust and it sounds pretty good. Kinda like an upset sewing machine. LOL. Power steering works well. Factory radio works. Dome light works. All the lights work, except for the driver-side front fender blinker ( bulb missing). Clear title from state of Iowa. Right rear taillight lens has a small crack in it. Other lenses are fine. I have this car for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end auction early. No warranty is expressed or implied. Winning bidder will be responsibe for transport. I will hold and store car here for as long is needed, (within reason). If a year goes by and the winning bidder hasn't picked it up, I will assume they don't want it. But a couple months or so is okay with me. I will not charge any storage fees. So, with all of that said, please bid with confidence. This car will need restored. It does have some rust on it, but in my opinion, nothing that ruins the car. The frame rails look solid, with just surface rust. But I am not sure, as I haven't done a complete under car inspection. The tires on the car are almost new. Just maybe 50 miles on them. Now for the good part. I am selling this at no reserve. I feel that my starting price is fair, and is lower than what I have in the car. Good luck.
