Your viewing a 1962 Corvair 700 4 door sedan. It's traveled just 40000 and looks and performs as such. Body, paint are original with no bondo or repair. The paint does have some blemishes but shines up beautifully. All bright work in clean and shinny. Trunk area still holds it's original paint and newness. Floors are solid but I would pull up the rubber carpet - sand and paint if I were to keep it. Interior is perfect! door panels, interior paint, headliner, glass, door handles, dash, rear package area, visors, switches are very nice. The rear seat does show fading from the sun but has no rips or tears. Mechanically it is very strong. Carbs have been rebuilt. Plugs, cap, wires, rear seal, air filters, fuel pump are new as well as pan gasket, "O" rings and valve cover gaskets. Trans pan removed and filter cleaned along with a new gasket. Electronic ignition was added for reliability. Front and rear suspension are tight. New tires, front shocks, front wheel bearings and seal, pitman arm bushing, idler arm are new. Brakes are responsive with rear steel lines replaced. The car comes with full wheel covers with correct centers and the original hub caps which are mint as are the covers. Exhaust is in good shape (very quite). New heater hoses (original style) were installed and car has excellent heat/defrost with no fowl Oder's. In all the car is in very good to excellent condition and would NOT TAKE MUCH to become a show car. At present it isn't driven much hence the reason for selling. Thought I would keep it forever but found what I really want and concentrating on those. Please feel free to ask questions and Thank you for looking.
