This is a great car for export and also a great car for someone in the states that wants a Jaguar convertible. This is a 2 owner car. The luxury grand tourer produced from 1975 to 1996 by the British manufacturer Jaguar. The production of the 1996 Jaguar XJS convertible was very low and was also the last year it was produced making it a rare year production. I bought this car from the 2nd owners in the Palm Beach Florida area which is known for folks that love driving quality vehicles. The car needs some cosmetics do to the fact that the owners were not able to drive the car to much anymore do to health problems that's why they sold the car. They bought the car in 2004 from the original owners and the car only had 42,348 miles which are shown in the title as proof. The lady that bought the car :Francis R Jannette and her family used the car as a daily driver and they traveled long Highway distances. The car has 171,000 miles currently, they took great care of the car and had oil changes performed every 3k miles.This car is a daily driver not a garage queen that sees the road once a month, this car was daily driven to work and for pleasure by its previous owners. The motor of the car is in fantastic shape and it was tuned not to long ago, it even has the oil change sticker on the windshield showing the oil was just replaced. The motor is quiet and does not smoke or make any noise of any kind, mechanically the car is in very good condition and if you know the Jaguar engineering then you know this motor is capable of lasting a very long time!! As I said before the owners of this car were ill and that's why they sold the car.The car is solid with no rust and in good solid conditions. Kelly Blue book value is way higher than the asking price and if you look on Ebay you will find restored examples for 25k dollars!! The car will require some cosmetic fixing which includes : The passenger window is stuck "the window motor works but it's stuck" The convertible top opens manually it does not open with the power top botton, the air blows cold but the fan runs on a low mode "maybe it needs a fan?" The body of the car is good looking the paint looks ok not "New" remember this is a daily driven car" . The tires are pretty good, the convertible top looks brand new, the front bumper needs minor aligment because the lady that owned it bumped into something and it's a little misaligned.The interior is solid, the wood looks good, the radio does not turn on but it could be a fuse i'm not sure. The interior is solid, the drivers seat shows some wear but is not ripped. Over all the interior looks ok!! This is a great vehicle if you dreamed of owning a true classic Jaguar convertible without emptying your bank account!! I'm not a mechanic but i drove the car from Palm Beach Florida To Miami on I95 at 70 MPH which is a good hour and a half drive and the car ran great, the engine was quiet and smooth!! The owners told me they had the car checked by a local Jaguar dealer and were told the car was mechanically in good conditions.
