The milage is hard to believe, but true. Only 2330 miles. My step dad bought it new after selling his bigger cruiser because Texas put in their helmet laws. He used it only to drive up the five miles to the post office. Eventually he decided to sell it and I jumped on it immediately. I drove it from Lake Texoma (Texas side) to Tulsa and then used it to drive the mile up Golfball Hill for a couple of years. Then I got transferred to Texas and traveled too much on the job to use it except rarely. It is in great condition with only a couple of minor rust spots around the bolts on the gas tank, a replaced right foot pedal, a scraced hydralic well on the handle bar and replaced rear turn lights. These had to be replaced when our gentle Texas winds knocked it over on a concrete surface. There are a couple of pebble pings on it here and there, but this is about as mint as you'll find outside of the showroom. My understanding is that Honda made this particular bike only 1 or 2 years and had to discontinue it because of some law suit about the look and sound of it. I can't verify this to be a fact, but I do know that this style of Honda Rebel is hard to come by, especially with such low milage. It has been kept inside all the time except for the occassional night here and there. It's a great starter bike, with penty of pep but light enough for a beginner to ride easily. The color is a bright battleship gray. I put a Givi windshield on it mainly to knock the bugs away rather than keep the wind off. It has a nice curved shape that makes the bike even more appealing. There is a set of saddlebags, but they are not mounted well as I have not been able to find the correct mounting frame. I also have a nice silver helmit with shield as well as a set of leathers (chaps, vest, coat and boots). I'm about 5'' 10" tall and weigh about 155 pounds. I wear a 9 1/2 size boot. So if you are about the same size, these are thrown in as a bonus. There's even a dust cover for it bought new on eBay. Just for icing, I've taken it to our local cycle shop for a good tune up. That's why the pics are a little rough and crowded. You won't find a better deal.
